Wide receiver Greg Jennings paid a visit to Green Bay West High School on Wednesday as they took on Merrill High School in a game of "Financial Football," a game designed to test money-management knowledge. "When you're a player in the (National Football League) you can come across a lot of money really fast," Jennings told the students. "The first year I was pretty good, I'm not a big spender. But it is tough. I had a lot of money, and a lot of people coming to me. You have to be smart. And if you're smart with your money, and smart with how you spend it, you can make it last your whole life. It's your money, you're not going to throw it out." The game of "Financial Football" was part of an educational initiative on behalf of the NFL, NFLPA and Visa, and Jennings was taking part in its launch.

NFL Draft prospect Chandler Harnish of Northern Illinois reportedly met with the Green Bay Packers, according to Tyler Dunne of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. "A dual-threat, Harnish is one intriguing quarterback option for the Packers," writes Dunne. "He visited with the team at the NFL scouting combine and Green Bay was also at his pro day. Harnish has also visited with the Seattle Seahawks." Harnish is projected to be a mid- to late-round draft choice.

Safety M.D. Jennings was interviewed at JSOnline about the uncertainty at the safety position for the Packers. “I don’t worry about things I can’t control," Jennings told Tyler Dunne. "If Nick (Collins) comes back and plays — which I hope he does, he's a great player — that’s fine. If he doesn’t, we’ll just have to keep it rolling. ...Nick has been the same from day one, even when he was placed on IR. His spirits were always the same. He was still around the facility. He didn’t show any signs of his spirits being down.” Jennings will be looking to make a jump from year one to year two in the NFL.

Speaking of safeties, former Packers linebacker Johnny Holland spoke to JSOnline to shed some light on the injury situation regarding Nick Collins. Both players suffered herniated discs in their necks. Holland talked about the risks of returning to action. "I tell players that it's a chance you take," said Holland, who is linebackers coach for the Oakland Raiders. "At the time I had it, I felt invincible. Nothing was going to happen to me. Most players feel that way and I had trust in God, that he was in control. And he definitely gave me a warning sign the second time." Holland herniated the disc in his neck, had surgery, came back and later herniated a different disc.
