Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers will be at the place to see and be seen, the posh Barnstable Brown Kentucky Derby Eve Gala this evening in Louisville.

The 24th annual celebrity-filled party from the world of movies, music and sports will raise funds for charity. The previous 6 years raised and donated $9,000,000 to the Barnstable Brown Diabetes and Obesity Research Center at the University of Kentucky.

Rodgers has attended the same party in previous years and has typically stayed in Louisville for Saturday's high-profile horse race and has appeared on NBC's television coverage of the Derby.

Other guests include Tom Brady, Wes Welker, Vince Wilfork and Deion Branch, all of the New England Patriots.

Earlier in the day, the Packers and Village of Ashwaubenon will be holding a joint press conference at 10:00 a.m. to announce plans for a retail entertainment complex as part of the Lambeau Development District near the stadium.
