Atlanta Falcons head coach Mike Smith said that wide receiver Harry Douglas, defensive tackle Peria Jerry, and cornerback Brian Williams have all been cleared medically to return practice, D. Orlando Ledbetter of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.

All three are coming off knee injuries.

Douglas caught 23 passes for 320 yards and a touchdown as a rookie, and was expected to play a larger role in the offense in 2009. However, Douglas tore his left ACL in early August and was placed on injured reserve. The former third-round pick (84th overall) out of Louisville is expected to be the team's third receiver, and is in the mix to return punts.

Jerry, the Falcons' first-round (24th overall) in 2009, injured his left knee two games into his NFL career. Drafted to improve the NFL's 25th-ranked defense, the 6-1, 290-pound Jerry is ticketed to start next to Jonathan Babineaux this season.

A longtime starter for Smith in Jacksonville, Williams was signed just before the start of the '09 season after he was released by the Jaguars. Williams made 18 tackles and intercepted one pass before tearing his right ACL in a 21-14 win over the Chicago Bears.

Williams was re-signed this off-season, and will need to fend off Christopher Owens, Brent Grimes, and Chevis Jackson for the starting right cornerback job opposite Dunta Robinson.
