Steelers P Daniel Sepulveda Signs RFA Tender

Pittsburgh Steelers restricted free agent punter Daniel Sepulveda has signed his one-year tender.

Sepulveda, a fourth-round pick (112th overall) out of Baylor, was the last of the four Steelers restricted free agents to sign his tender. The Steelers tendered Sepulveda at the "Original Round" level, which comes with a $1.101 million dollar base salary, a nice boost over the $460,000 he made in 2009, the final season of his three-year rookie contract.

After missing the 2008 season with a torn ACL, Sepulveda averaged 37.1 yards per punt in 2009, putting 29 of his 72 punts inside the opponents' 20-yard line. Sepulveda also had a career-long punt of 60 yards last season.

The Steelers also have first-year punter Adam Graessle, who played his college ball at the University of Pittsburgh and spent a month last off-season with the Green Bay Packers, on its off-season roster.
