Seattle Seahawks fan Robert Larsen has filed a lawsuit in Seattle, Washington against New York Jets defensive end Shaun Eillis for an incident involving a large chunk of snow at Qwest Field on December 21, 2008.

Larsen is seeking unspecified damages for medical expenses (past and future), loss of earnings (past and future), and mental and physical pain and suffering after Ellis hurled a block of snow and ice into the stands as he exited the field.

The NFL fined Ellis $10,000 for the incident, which was captured on the video below. Connor Orr of The Star-Ledger reports that a tentative trial date is scheduled for June 4, 2012.
