Raiders CB Stanford Routt Signs RFA Tender

Oakland Raiders restricted free agent cornerback Stanford Routt has signed his one-year tender, the team announced on Saturday.

Routt, a second-round pick (38th overall) out of the University of Houston in 2005, has started 23 of his 78 games with the Raiders, totaling 133 tackles, 2 quarterback sacks, and four interceptions. Routt's most recent interception came when he intercepted Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Damon Huard in an October 12, 2007 game in Oakland.

Routt was tendered at the "First- and Third-Round" level, which will pay Routt a $3.268 million dollar base salary in 2010. Routt is the last of the Raiders' restricted free agents to sign his tender this off-season.
