Raiders Add Pair of Safeties to Practice Squad

After clearing waivers, the Oakland Raiders have re-signed safety Stevie Brown to the practice squad, reports Vittorio Tafur of the San Francisco Chronicle.

Brown was waived on Monday after being signed to the active roster on Saturday. Offensive tackle Erik Pears, whose contract was terminated to add Brown, was re-signed to the 53-man roster on Wednesday.

Additionally, the Raiders have terminated the practice squad contract of linebacker Slade Norris, and signed undrafted rookie safety Quentin Scott to a practice squad contract.

Scott (6-3, 220) played his college ball at Northern Iowa, and signed with the Chicago Bears after going undrafted in April. In four pre-season games, Scott totaled 5 tackles and a pass defensed.
