Greg Bedard of the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel reports that the Green Bay Packers have signed free agent quarterback Graham Harrell, who was participating in the team's mini-camp on a tryout basis.

Terms were not disclosed.

Undrafted out of Texas Tech, Harrell went to mini-camp with the Cleveland Browns last off-season, and spent part of the Fall with the Saskatchewan Roughriders of the Canadian Football League. Harrell tried out for the Browns during a mini-camp last week, as well.

Harrell, who turns 25 next week, set the NCAA record for career touchdown passes (134), and ranked second in passing yardage with 15,793 yards, throwing for 5,000 yards twice in his career.
