Detroit Lions head coach Jim Schwartz has named Shaun Hill the starting quarterback for their Week 3 game against the Minnesota Vikings.

Hill got the start for an injured Matthew Stafford last week against the Philadelphia Eagles, and completed 25-of-45 pass attempts for 335 yards with a pair of touchdowns and interceptions in the 35-32 loss.

Sunday will be the 18th start of the 30-year old Hill's career.
