Jaguars Re-Sign QB Todd Bouman

The Jacksonville Jaguars have re-signed veteran quarterback Todd Bouman, Tania Ganguli of the Florida Times-Union reports.

Bouman had signed with the Jaguars on September 21, but was released on October 5.

Bouman (6-2, 238) played his college ball at St. Cloud State, and entered the NFL with the Minnesota Vikings as an undrafted free agent in 1997. In 43 career games, including six starts, Bouman has completed 129-of-230 pass attempts for 1,683 yards and 11 touchdowns and interceptions.

Ganguli adds that with David Garrard suffering a concussion last night, and Trent Edwards taking a pounding in relief work, the Jaguars may also sign veteran quarterback Patrick Ramsey to add depth at the position.

Veteran safety Gerald Alexander has been released to add Bouman to the 53-man roster.
