Colts Place CB Kevin Thomas on IR

The Indianapolis Colts have placed third-round cornerback Kevin Thomas on injured reserve, Mike Chappell of the Indianapolis Star reports.

Thomas tore an ACL during the final day of the Colts' post-draft mini-camp.

Thomas (6-0, 192) appeared in 39 games during his career at USC, becoming a full-time starter during the 2009 season. During his career, Thomas had 89 tackles, including 4.5 for a loss and three quarterback sacks. Thomas added 3 interceptions and 21 passes defensed.

Today's move puts the Colts' roster at 75 players.
