The San Diego Chargers have signed linebacker Antwan Barnes, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports.

Barnes was released by the Philadelphia Eagles on Saturday.

A fourth-round pick (134th overall) out of Florida International by the Baltimore Ravens in 2007, Barnes was traded to the Eagles on September 4 for a 2011 draft choice.

The fourth-year linebacker has 40 tackles, 5 quarterback sacks, and an interception in 40 games for the Ravens. 22 of Barnes' tackles have come on special teams.
