Chargers Sign G Cameron Stephenson

The San Diego Chargers swapped offensive linemen on Monday, signing guard Cameron Stephenson and waiving offensive tackle Corey Clark.

A seventh-round pick (234th overall) in 2008 out of Texas A&M, Clark (6-6, 326) spent much of his first two seasons on the Chargers' practice squad, appearing in two regular season games in 2009.

Clark had been on the team's "Exempt/Left Squad" list.

Stephenson was a fifth-round pick (156th overall) by the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2007. The former Rutgers standout has had stints with the Green Bay Packers, Philadelphia Eagles, New Orleans Saints, and Jacksonville Jaguars, but has yet to appear in an NFL game.

Stephenson (6-3, 326) was most recently with the Hartford Colonials of the United Football League.
