Bengals WR Maurice Purify Suspended One Game

Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Maurice Purify has been suspended for one game for violating the NFL's personal conduct policy, James Walker of ESPN.com reports.

Purify's one-game suspension will cost him $23,235 in base salary.

The 6-3, 226-pound receiver from Nebraska was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct after an incident at Jefferson Hall in Newport, Kentucky. Purify has just one special teams tackle, and is no lock to the make the Bengals' 53-man roster to start the season.
