Bengals Release WR Antonio Bryant

The Cincinnati Bengals have released veteran wide receiver Antonio Bryant, reports Joe Reedy of the Cincinnati Enquirer.

Safety Gibril Wilson has been placed on injured reserve, and rookie long-snapper Mike Windt has been waived.

Bryant signed a four-year, $28 million contract with the Bengals in March that included nearly $8 million in guaranteed money. A lingering left knee injury kept Bryant off the field throughout much of training camp, and Bryant did not appear in any of the Bengals' four pre-season games this month.
