Bears Reach Injury Settlement With Rookie DE

The Chicago Bears announced that they have reached an injury settlement with undrafted rookie defensive end Lawrence Wilson.

Wilson, who suffered an ankle injury during a recent mini-camp, was waived when the Bears signed third-round pick Major Wright on May 28. After clearing waivers, Wilson was added to the team's injured reserve list on June 2.

The 6-4, 272-pound Wilson totaled 59 tackles, including 12 for a loss, during his four years at Ohio State University. Wilson missed most of the 2007 season with a broken right leg, and tore the ACL in his left knee during the 2008 season.
