Upcoming Packers-Eagles Game Time Flexed
The Week 11 match-up on Nov. 16 has been moved to a 3:25 p.m. CT kickoff.
The game time of the Week 11 match-up between the Green Bay Packers and the Philadelphia Eagles on Nov. 16 has been changed to 3:25 p.m. CT as part of the NFL's flexible scheduling policy.
Originally slated for a noon kickoff, the game will remain on Fox.
The NFL uses flexible scheduling to ensure quality matchups in all NFL Sunday time slots and to give teams a chance to play their way onto primetime and into the late-afternoon 3:25 PM ET time slot on CBS or FOX.
With the Packers owners of a 5-3 record and the Eagles at 6-2, both teams are in contention for their respective division titles and a spot in the playoffs.
Ironically, the Packers-Eagles game will be notable for the broken collarbone suffered by quarterback Nick Foles, the same injury that forced Aaron Rodgers to miss their contest a year ago.
Meanwhile, two of the Packers' division opponents had their Week 11 game time flexed to a noon kickoff. The Chicago Bears-Minnesota Vikings game on Nov. 16 will now be televised on CBS.
For the first time, a select number of games are being “cross-flexed,” moving between CBS and FOX to bring potentially under-distributed games to wider audiences.

This Dom Capers defense is going to make Nick Foles look like the second coming of Steve Young.

In what way?
Foles won't be playing against Green Bay due to his broken collar bone.

Bears-Vikings on CBS? Damn- millions of people will be wishing they had their usual Jaguars-Raiders programming.
