Good: defense making plays as advertised, balanced offense
Bad: some details which in a close game could change the final result - Engabare celebrating when the ball was still live, risky long throws late in the game when we could benefit from draining the clock already (btw run clicked good i that period).
Ugly: penalties. How many yards would Jacobs have if not all the plays he got reversed?! In week 2 it looked better, but now? Terrible.

Brilliant compromise.
Click on the article, it automatically launches the video (so he gets the views) but right underneath the video is the bullet point list.

Excellent point concerning Jacobs; all his productive runs were called back.

I couldn't agree with you more, I thought the same thing the officials were very ticky tacky. A little home field advantage maybe..?. You should have seen the Vikings Texans game, 13 penalties against the Texans and only 4 for the Vikings... Talk about home field advantage. I hope those officials are no where near Lambeau field next week... I agree I thought Preston Smith looked very slow to react on certain plays. I still think we need aggressive speedy LB's... Maybe make a trade before before the trading deadline is up.

Not a Vikes fan but I can say this, over the years the Vikes have drafted smart players, guys you can teach the rules to and they get it. I think it was several years ago the Vikes were the least penalized team in football for like three seasons in a row. That to me is just playing smart and not beating yourself.
Jenkins is getting holding calls now and refs going forward will be watching him because he is building a reputation for penalties.

Good: Engabare was bringing it. Malik was fantastic. What a pickup by Gute.
Bad: Walker and Jenkins holding penalties.
Ugly: Callahan going for it on 4th down at their own 36.

The Good- complimentary football, attacking D even at the end- no prevent BS, O line for play in second half espeically- running the football, Malik Willis , Gute and his staff for identifying Willis and going out and getting him, Special Teams - kicking/ punting when we need them. MLF another great game plan.
The Bad- penalties again that kill drives
The Ugly- Can't think of one!

Good- Malik Willis- played another nearly mistake-free game, while consistently moving the chains. Even made some big time throws in clutch 3rd down situations. As far as the "revenge" storyline, he was smart to downplay it earlier in the week. There's no advantage to hyping that up and putting more pressure on himself. He did the smart thing and let his play speak for itself. I watched his post game interview from last week and he really has the perfect attitude you look for in a leader. Work your rear end off and be prepared. Glad we have him on our team.
Bad- not much to dwell on from this game. I would like to see a little more push from the on-line on runs between the tackles.
Ugly- Too many flags from the refs. Some legit, more that were ticky-tacky.

Good- the pass rush today was the best I've seen of them in a long time. Either that or Titans are an awful team?
Bad - Lefluer play calling in the red zone. He acutally ran the clock down 15 seconds before calling a time out? I think in his mind he was planning on a field goal and not even trying to get the ball into the end zone.
Personally I dont like HC being play callers just for that reason, they want to call a play but too much is happening and the clock is running and its caos in your mind. I prefer them to manage the game and being watching of calls being missed and red flag management.
Ugly - Stokes. Was hoping he would be cut or traded. He is the weak link in the pass d and even Levis who isnt a rocket scientist figured that out and was targeting him the whole game. He just brings nothing to the table as far as Im concerned.

Finally, an attacking defense! Fun to watch Hafley's D get after the QB and stifle an opposing offense. Barry's D would have let Levis and company back in the game with their "prevent" defense. I look forward to watching this defense evolve as the players continue to learn the new system. Between the new system and added talent, this could be a dynamite defense by the end of the season.

I thought the O-line played pretty well despite too many penalties. The pass pro was good and the run blocking got stronger as the game went on. Clean up the penalties and this could be a scary offense.

Malik Willis - what a find by Gute!

Like Wilson as a running back. More experience he gets the better he gets.

I agree about the officials dominating the game. Moreover it seems to be happening in all the games not just Packer games. It is an unnecessary distraction.
