I have a message for Gutey too lol.

That SF trade rumor better be true. Get Trey Lance. At the very least it'll be worth more if you have to trade him in the future. Sick of the accommodating the Jets stubbornness during this offseason process in finding a new home for Rodgers. Let the guy have his best chance at a super bowl before he retires. I can wait a couple years if it means we start building up our team strong again. Trey Lance stock is going to go up - make the investment.

"What's Love in one hand, without a Lance in the other?"

Trading the #15 pick is going to happen.
IMO: Look for the saints to propose 2- # 1s Again.

It's definitely possible. They have 29 and 40 though. Would rather try to get both of those since this year has a very good round 2.

It could happen. Then they get a 1 for next year.
Grab Meyer in the trade down.
NO needs a edge again, if not QB.
That leaves the possible trade of Rodgers.
And our #45 pick.
It works for a TE if not two. A WR.?
And a edge in rd. 2.

I’m leaning towards us not making any trades, even if we get 13, 42, 43…

Some insane talents to secure to our roster with both 13 & 15.

#13 is off the table. Jets would give 2nd round this year and next, with next year going up to 1st round if Jets play at home in divisional round or make it to the AFC championship game, and Packers give some draft compensation in 2025 if AR12 only plays for the Jets 1 year.

I say do it! Sounds fair and I don't see how you do better than that. Other than this it's just a question of re-negotiating the contract so we don't also have a cap hit.

Hope you had a great annual sabbath! Only because of my homework on this third temple news lately, am I able to say we are truly praying for our Jewish brothers with everything happening in Israel atm. Christians for Zion! To the Christians that were like me, before I fully understood, the third holy temple is a good thing. It's just the abomination verse (that needs to be better understood) that describes someone defiling it and claiming the false self-god claims. Regardless, in the end, the King of Kings returns. I would also like to think He is a Packer fan as well lol - hopefully we keep the God-fearing players in GB though, cause I'd like to see another Super Bowl soon. Watson was the first step, hope to see Bijan drafted!

I also apologize for the thumbs down by others. Due to the other comments in this section, it would seem that those who would thumbs down, also tend to have bad Packer theory. What a coincidence lol.

Uh oh, though he is coming to Green Bay, seems like this guy's intelligence and communication abilities might pose a threat to Brian and Mark's egos and the 31 Billionaire Owners don't want the inmates running the prison, in the words of the former Texan owner, late Bob McNair.

Hooker is one of the most talented quarterback prospects in this year’s draft. If not for the torn ACL sustained against South Carolina on Nov. 19, he’d be mentioned alongside Florida’s Anthony Richardson and Kentucky’s Will Levis in the second tier of quarterbacks behind Ohio State’s C.J. Stroud and Alabama’s Bryce Young.

Without the ACL, Hooker is “first round all the way,” a scout said recently.

So, why the visit? Hooker’s talent, obviously, has the Packers intrigued. And they need a backup to Love with Danny Etling – with zero passes since entering the NFL in 2018 – the only other quarterback on the roster. The visit will serve as an extensive getting-to-know-you session for the coaches. It also will allow the team’s physicians an opportunity to track Hooker’s progress from the injury.

Even with the injury, Hooker might go in the first round. It seems unlikely the Packers would take him at No. 15 but, if he tumbles into the second, the Packers will be prepared.

Box score scouting is a dangerous business but, in the case of Hooker, the stats tell a story. During his final season, he completed 69.6 percent of his passes with 27 touchdowns vs. just two interceptions.

In two seasons with the Volunteers – he spent his first three years at Virginia Tech – Hooker threw 58 touchdown passes vs. five interceptions and added 10 rushing touchdowns.

While the Tennessee scheme made some things easy for him, those numbers speak to a quarterback who’s accurate and made sound decisions in an up-tempo offense.

“Everybody can throw the ball and everybody is a great quarterback, but my consistency and accuracy, as you can see on film,” Hooker said at the Scouting Combine. “I completed 69 percent of my passes, so if I can continue to be accurate and get my playmakers the ball, that's the main goal.”

With plenty of arm strength and athleticism, Hooker has the goods. The timing of the injury, though, couldn’t have been much worse. While Hooker said his “plan (is) to be healthy and 100 percent” for the start of training camp, that would be an ambitious timeline of about nine-and-a-half months.

That could make 2023 the equivalent of a redshirt season for Hooker. Then again, 2020 was sort of the same for Love due to COVID and the cancellation of the preseason.

Fortunately, Hooker is the studious sort.

“I spend countless hours in the facility or at home,” Hooker said. “Me and roommate, Joe Milton, spend a lot of time watching film. I spend a lot of time watching film with coaches, by myself. My preparation is ridiculous. If I sat here and told you my whole weekly process, we'd run out of time. My preparation is huge. I want to be prepared for any and every situation.”

At this point, I think it is one of two scenarios.
1. Trade terms are done, and GB/NY are waiting till the draft to announce it. Perhaps even until June 1.
2. Packers are delaying, hoping to extract a better deal from the 49ers.

I belive #1, but hope for #2
