Packers Daily: LaFleur Made The Right Call

Given the state of the roster heading into the playoffs, Matt LaFleur was right to sit most of his starters in the season finale.

Knowing the Packers didn't care if the won or not, why in Go*'s name didn't LaFloor let the 3 rd string QB pass the ball???? He needs to have live experience or else he isn't worth drafting him.

You could use a sundial to time his release. Nothing good was gonna happen by "Letting him throw it"

Tube needs to be quarterbacking in real time and real settings to improve… I disagree with you Aaron!…

Let’s be fair to sundials, they tell time just as fast as any other clock and they’re great lawn ornaments as well!

More passing in a game like that risks more injuries.

Maybe the Packers didn't want to showcase the diamond mine that they unearthed in WR Jakobie Keeney-James, lest he get pilfered by jealous NFL franchises. He was rocket fuel and dynamite at Eastern Washington, you know, and apparetnly Eastern Washington is an actual school...

Well, they turned out Cooper Kupp. He wasn't too shabby.

I sure hope they can find a better development QB than Tune next year. Willis will, in all likelihood be fighting for a starting QB position elsewhere. So they need to find another "Willis" for the backup, and a 3rd string guy they're not afraid to let throw a pass.

Just having an NFL QB hand off the ball when you're losing by three scores was embarrassing.

At least pretend like you're trying to win.

Likely they'll extend Willis and trade him to the Raiders for their first-round pick and Max Crosby, so they'll be able to get the first QB in the draft to backup Love and learn the ropes. That's if they can't get Tom Brady to come out of retirement.

That's actually just about how desperate teams are to find a QB1 these days. Willing to fire everybody and start over every year if necessary.

He can throw well.

Why show what he can do.

Packers arguably have the best backup QB situation in the entire league, and people are still bitching about some unknown noodle-arm dude from the practice squad ...
