Packers Calendar: Training Camp Practice Open to the Public

Practice starts at noon at Ray Nitschke Field in Green Bay.

Sad to hear of Robin Williams' passing. Funny man, great actor.

Even though the Green Bay Packers practiced on Monday, it was not open to the public, choosing instead to prepare for some regular-season looks behind closed doors.

Tuesday, then, represents the first training camp practice open to fans since last week, as the Packers begin preparations this upcoming weekend for a match-up against the St. Louis Rams in preseason game No. 2.

Practice is scheduled to start at noon CT at Ray Nitschke Field.

Although the forecast from The Weather Channel calls for clear skies and temperatures in the mid-60s by the start of practice, it rained overnight and continues to do so during the morning hours, perhaps putting practice outside in jeopardy.

There has been no announcement by the Packers at the time of publication whether they'll move practice inside the Don Hutson Center.

Whatever happens, eyes on Tuesday will be on the wide receiver after Jordy Nelson (hamstring) and Davante Adams (wrist) sat out of yesterday's session.

Missing the preseason opener against the Tennessee Titans and the past two practices, the Packers will be itching to start getting Nelson some work. And they'll want to see Adams getting some work with quarterback Aaron Rodgers, which didn't happen in the first exhibition game.

Head coach Mike McCarthy will likely address and changes in injury situations during his post-practice press conference, scheduled to take place at 2:30 p.m. CT and streamed live on Packers.com.

Fans attending practice will be able to visit the one-day-only display by Dermatology Associates in the Ray Nitschke lot for information on skin screening and free coffee cup giveaway.
