With the Green Bay Packers in the NFC Championship game this week, more visibility and national attention has been a byproduct.

As a result, the Packers will hold a much longer press conference on Wednesday than usual when head coach Mike McCarthy is typically the only one that addresses the media from a podium.

Starting at 4:05 p.m. CT and streaming live on Packers.com, the Packers will hold their NFC Championship game press conference with quarterback Aaron Rodgers, wide receiver Jordy Nelson and linebacker Julius Peppers answering questions in addition to McCarthy.

The Packers have published an end time of 6:05 p.m., anticipating a two-hour length.

The press conference will follow the team's first practice of the week, one in which Rodgers does not expect to take part.

"It'll be a similar schedule this week probably as far as practice time," said Rodgers on his weekly radio show on Tuesday.

Last week, Rodgers did not take part in practice on Wednesday, instead receiving treatment, before returning to action on Thursday.

Whether anyone else will join Rodgers on the sidelines remains to be seen. Defensive lineman Josh Boyd appeared to aggravate a knee injury in last Sunday's divisional round playoff game against the Dallas Cowboys.

During the evening hours, tight end Brandon Bostick will host his bi-monthly radio show on 107.5 FM, 1400 AM WDUZ in Green Bay and streamed online at TheFan1075.com at 6:00 p.m.

Offensive lineman David Bakhtiari will be Bostick's guest on the show, according to the station's Twitter account.

Then at 6:30 p.m. fullback John Kuhn and offensive lineman Josh Sitton take turns hosting Green Bay Nation on flagship station WFRV channel 5 in Green Bay.
