Packers bringing back TE Tyler Davis
The special teams standout tore his ACL during the preseason last summmer and missed the 2023 season.

Per sources, Packers have re-signed TE Tyler Davis, the backup/special teams ace who tore his ACL in the preseason last year. He’s expected to be ready for the start of training camp, if not sooner.
Packers ST coordinator Rich Bisaccia and coach Matt LaFleur love Davis.

While Davis struggled mightily at times early on in Green Bay, both from scrimmage and on special teams, he looked to be turning the corner during camp last year prior to suffering the ACL injury last summer.
Davis has caught eight passes for 61 yards and made 15 total tackles on special teams while with the Packers.
He should be able to help Matt LaFleur's offense as an in-line guy in certain situations and will undoubtedly get a chance to be featured on several special teams units this summer.
