Packers Add DB Tay Glover-Wright to the Practice Squad

The Green Bay Packers signed cornerback Tay Glover-Wright to the practice squad on Monday.

An undrafted rookie out of Utah State, Glover-Wright originally signed with the Atlanta Falcons on May 12, 2014. He played in two preseason games, making three tackles and one pass defended.

Glover-Wright started his college career as a quarterback and wide receiver at Highland (Kan.) Community College (2010) and Eastern Arizona Community College (2011). He played his final two seasons at Utah State, where he recorded 69 tackles (40 solo), five tackles for a loss, a sack, a forced fumble, a fumble recovery and 10 passes defensed. He will wear No. 40 for the Packers.

After promoting wide receiver Kevin Dorsey from the practice squad, the Packers had three open spots on the practice squad, but filled just one by the end of business on Monday. Two spots still remain unfilled.

I don't know this player. Wonder if he is as good or as talented as Rolle?

Thompson has had luck bringing in DB's in the middle of the season. Hopefully he will be the next to join that list of good players.
