Packers 2014 Over/Under Win Total Set at 10 1/2

The over/under win total for the Green Bay Packers for the 2014 season has been set at 10 1/2 by online sportsbook Bovada on Wednesday.

Two other teams are tied with the Packers at 10 1/2 games: the San Francisco 49ers and New England Patriots.

The win totals of other teams in the NFC North are the Chicago Bears and Detroit Lions, both at 8 1/2, while the MInnesota Vikings have the third-lowest total in the NFL at six.

in related news, the odds of the Packers winning the NFC North title have been set at 4-5 with the Bears at 11-4, the Lions at 17-4 and the Vikings at 12-1.

Wasn't it last year that you predicted the Packers to go 6-10?
And then after they lost Bulaga you said it would cost them 2 games, and their record would be 6-10?

I don't remember exactly it was either 10-6 or 11-5.

This year. 11-5 or 12-4.

The truth is the Pack finished 8-8-1. --- They were unable to beat ANY team with a winning record. --- That's not good. --- The 24th ranked 'D' pretty much guarantees a mediocre record. ---- The same will likely happen this season if the 'D' doesn't improve significantly.

AR is good but not good enough (anymore) to make up for a lousy 'D'.

Yeah, you got that exactly right. Packers lost because there defense was horrible, and it had absolutely nothing to due with the injuries to their key players.

The truth is the Packers finished 8-7-1 (regular season), because Rodgers was lost for most of the year. Also they lost Clay Mathews.

The truth is most NFL teams wouldn't be able to overcome losing their QB (best player on offense) and there best player on defense.

Try all you want, you can't rewrite history. GB didn't beat a team with a winning record in 2013. (this includes the playoffs with AR)

BTW, are you guys all the same person? ---4thand1, RC & Stroh?? --- You all post pretty much the same stuff. --- Just wondering.

U probably are right. Packers didn't beat a team with a winning record. U just forget to mention that they also were playing with their 3rd and 4th string QB' s for 7 games.

As far as the same person. No, I am my own man. I haven't changed my name since I have been here. Can u say the same thing?

I think the reason why we post similar stuff is because we are actual knowledgeable Packer fans.

What a waste of time responding to the constant dribble of the likes of brutass, cow, and any other troll asshole. I'm done for a while, I'll be back when there's something worth while conversing about.

I'd like to think over, but 11 wins in the North won't come easy. If these are Vegas odds, they know what they are doing. I like to go against the grain. if everyone thinks over, I'd go under. I think GB could win the North this season with 10 wins. The North will not be a cake walk. I wouldn't just pencil in 11 or 12 wins. No matter what you think about Cutler, Chicago & Detroit will be formidable foes. I think GB wins the North, but not easily. Seattle is currently a
5 1/2 to 6 pt Favorite. In my mind, that will put a Ton of $$$$$$ on GB, & that is NOT GOOD. I hope I'm wrong. I thought that line would be a lot closer. Maybe it will by game time, but right now, all the $$$$ is going on GB.

I will take the over. Offense will be better with a healthy Rodgers and Bulaga. Defense should be better with a healthy CM, Perry, even Brad Jones, and with Dix or Hyde at safety. I think the floor is 10 wins and the ceiling is 12 or 13 if some of the 1st and 2nd round talents (and guys entering their 2nd year) improve.
