Guess who's selecting another cornerback with their 1st round pick! Let's make it nine first rounders on the defense and then Gute can spend that 3rd round pick on the next Amari Rodgers for the offense!

I disagree LP.
If Bahk's injury is the reason
why this OL plays so bad. w/penalties.
Draft the OTs for next decade.

Move on from the high paid guys.
Any re-build says the Trench gets first attention.

The strength of this draft is Tackles.

We have OTs. The idea of drafting OTs to use them on the interior goes out the window when they're 6'6" +.

We need interior O linemen. S. Now CB. We will need RBs, since they threw away Goodson and won't even try #31 Wilson. You're convinced we need a QB, which is the strength of the next draft. Obviously that would require our top pick. We probably need ILB.

OR, they could get coaches that are worth a damn and use the talent on the roster.

How can you say Interior when Walker is bad?
The safeties are second rd. this draft.
CB don't have to be 1st rd.
Truman Williams.? as many others weren't.
And No I"m not convinced on QB.
I pointed to OT at #1 and #2 then S with the second

Will you two PLEASE look on the bright side of this?!? Like our Center, the defensive coordinator is probably coaching his best ever of his career. Isn't that good enough?

I mean a C that usually does well in pass pro but you can never run behind him, so what? Any team can run against us and convert 3rd and long, how is that a problem?

Give one good player $25MM a year while you throw away another - it builds character on the rest of your roster!

ARE YOU NOT ENTERTAINED??

A lot can be fixed with one phone call from the GM to the HC. … MLFs soft teams have been getting pushed around by quality opponents since he got here… now we’re being pushed around by not so quality opponents.
One of them ( Raiders ) fired their coach just weeks after they totally humiliated this franchise on national tv.
We are even see jerseys not green and gold in the stands at home games. I’m not used to seeing that, and I’ve watched every packers game I possibly could ( from NY ) .
Following this team from NY in the late 60s meant spending my allowance on Pro Football Weekly, which dedicated one page to each team. Ray Nitschke’s Packer Report ran an ad in PFW in the 1980s , and I eventually subscribed. Ray was tough on the players and front office when times were bad. Eventually it became Packer Report , Nitschke had a mellowed out column and the reporting became a home cheering section. But I digress.
I wish there was a similar publication today that got the inside info and held the team to task. There is no way I can believe that the locker room hasn’t at least began to fracture.
I don’t like any scenario that brings MLF back in 24.

On a more serious note, assume, just pretend, that O line coach Butkus is not a Bears plant here to destroy the team. Assume he's coaching and teaching at least footwork, or also other necessary fundamentals. Every day, every week, 3 of your players ignore it.

That coach is responsible for benching those insubordinate players as a matter of principle. There isn't a shortage of talent in the position group.

WRs, had they been spending over 2 hours every day since the first OTA on just on CTFB, would not be dropping so many passes.

I don't give Vrabel a pass here.

JL10's accurate passes are often not on time, and drops are usually not accurate. Usually they're thrown behind the target instead of in stride. To some extent JL10 gets some grace because of the porous O line. It all starts there. Butkus has to be the first out the door.

Packers fans need to remove their beer goggles. This season has always been deemed a REBUILD YEAR. Packers fans just didn't want to accept it. AR12 said it right after last season -- he didn't want to be a part of a rebuild. The Packers are #3 in dead cap money this season: $65,042,709 -- that's 29% of the salary budget not being used (thanks to AR12). They have the youngest team in the league with several starters OUT with injury. Every team goes through a rebuild in the lifecycle of team development, and the Packers have been able to avoid it due to 30 years of HOF QB play. As the great Vic Ketchman often said, you can't expect full consistency all the time, especially when the Packers are in their current situation. Embrace the fact the Packers have a young team that will develop, the dead cap money next season is only $5,638,132 (currently), the Packers will have a Top 10 draft pick, five (5) draft picks in the Top 100, and Joe Barry won't be around next season.

Packer fans understood it would be a re-build year. However, in order to
re-build and develop, coaches need to teach fundamentals, footwork, precise route-running and so on. There needs to be strict accountability and consequences for poor play. Example: Why does Myers feel he will start every game when he plays poorly? Why isn't he benched? Why are Stenavich and Gutekunst saying 'he is playing his best football?" That is patently untrue.

This is a sloppily-coached team by mediocre coaches and their assistants. Fans should not be expected to tolerate it.

Rodgers became who he was because McCarthy and Clements insisted on the mastery of fundamentals. He could then play freely in games.

Development takes time. You can't expect improvement one week to the next. Improvement will not be seen until next season.

I'm not concerned about Love's decisions, arm strength, timing, and mistakes. Those things can be corrected. I am concerned about his accuracy. Accuracy rarely improves at this level. Every game he throws at the feet of a receiver and under throws deep balls consistently.

Worse, I cringe every time we line up on short side of the field and he throws 30 yards parallel to the line of scrimmage to a WR, almost always for 2 yard gains or less. Those balls are in the air way too long, and nothing decides a game as quickly as a pick 6. MLF needs to remove those plays from his playbook.

I know that many people think players over plays. I agree that players need to make plays and execute. However, I feel strongly that calling plays that put players in the best position to make plays is more important. EG: I would never throw a bomb on 3rd and short, it's not playing the odds and sets the offense up for failure. Rodgers got away with it fairly often but, Love has nowhere near the accuracy of Rodgers. Moving the chains should always be the top priority, not chunk plays. Our opponents are happy to take 16 or 18 plays to score. We should be too.

Another pet peeve of mine is lining up in shotgun on every short goal to go, and 3rd and short, for called runs. It makes the RB start from a dead stop 5 yards behind the line which give defense too much time to react. Line up under center and let Dillon and Jones get running starts at the line. Isn't that why we drafted Dillon? It's obviously his strength. Lining up under center also allows the entire playbook and makes play action more successful. There's times when shotgun is a good option. There's times when it's not.

Lastly, it seems that we're the only team in the NFL that doesn't use the QB sneak. It's very hard to stop when executed properly. Go Pack go! :).
