1) HHCD - OVERRATED - He doesn't make those game-changing plays on a regular enough basis.
2) Nick Perry - UNDERRATED - Sure, Perry gets injured, but he has 18 sacks in the last two regular seasons (26 games). He has a history of coming up big in the playoffs, with 7 playoff sacks, 3.5 in 2015. What I love most about Perry, you guys didn't mention: He can play the run first, set the edge, and then work his way to the QB. Btw, in 72 regular season games, he has 6 career FF's, 1 INT, and 8 PD's (4 in 2016), which is pretty good for a guy his size.
3) Clay Matthews - overrated - It feels wrong saying overrated, but fans still view him as a consistent double digit sack guy, which he hasn't had since 2014. He's still a good player, though.
4) Blake Martinez - UNDERRATED - 213 Combined tackles, 143 solo, 70 assists, 2 sacks, 1 FF, 2 FR, 2 INT, 12 PD, 13 Stuffs compared to Jake Ryan's regular season career being 213 Combined tackles, 144 solo, 69 assists, 1 sack, 1 FF, 2 FR, 3 PD, and 14 stuffs. Now, what people don't mention is Martinez has only been in the league 2 years (with 29 games played) compared to Jake Ryan playing 3 seasons (with 43 games played). Blake Martinez is outplaying Jake Ryan, but they seem to be viewed as the same player.
5) Kenny Clark - UNDERRATED - 4.5 sacks last year from a NT is impressive, but fans seem to view him as just another guy. Fans often don't pay attention to the DL, especially the interior. He has done a lot of other things like FF, FR, PD, stop the run, etc., too.
6) Mike Daniels - underrated - I really like his sack count, I do think he could be a little better against the run, but overall, he's very good. He's actually about right, and I wasn't going to say overrated.
7) David Bakhtiari - UNDERRATED - To toot my own horn, I had him rated as a 1st Round pick in the Draft. Luckily, he fell to us in the 4th Round. He is doing what he was always capable of, coming from the Colorado OT factory, and then he was undersized with great feet going to the fantastic fit with the ZBS Green Bay Packers. Talent, fit, and factory have all lined up to produce a perennial Pro Bowl LT.
8) Davante Adams - underrated - I was close to saying overrated, he needs to work on his receiving yards as he has never has a 1,000 yard season, but in the end, he has had 22 TD's in the last two regular seasons. That puts him #1 in receiving TD's out of all receivers.
9) Ty Montgomery - underrated - Montgomery is a great threat receiving out of the backfield, and he does a lot to the defense before even getting involved in the play. He also has had a good rushing yards/att average. I may change my mind, though, because he keeps getting hurt. Big year for him.
10) Aaron Rodgers - UNDERRATED - Give the man some talent.

Why do people get so hung up on 1k yards? Adams put up 997 isn't that close enough? Does 3 more yards really make him elite?

Am I the one getting hung up on 1,000 yards or are you? If he gets 3 more yards, he ends up with barely 1,000 yards for the first time in his career. He was under 500 yards his first two seasons, and he was under 900 yards his last season. And btw, 1,000 receiving yards isn't even Top 10 for receivers, as 15 receivers had 1,000+ receiving yards in 2017, 25 in 2016, 26 in 2017, etc. It's not uncommon for the #1 receiver to have 1,500+ receiving yards in a season, or even 1,800+. So I ask again, am I the one really hung up on 1,000 receiving yards, or are you?

Let's let 2018 play out see what kind of TD and yards he puts up after getting paid like a #1 receiver. Then we can revisit the yards conversation. You're judging Adam's like he was the #1 receiver up to 2018 when I think he was a #2 or 3.

The question was for now, not for next year. Also, 4 years is quite a few years and I gave him an underrated grade. I'm really not sure why you are so upset. I said the reason I was close to giving him an overrated grade is because he hadn't broke 1,000 yards even once in 4 years, but even if he did that one year, that still wouldn't have been good. I'm not sure why you want to give Adams a pass for his yards. Adams was not the #1 WR, meaning he did not go up against the #1 CB and he did not get doubled as much as Nelson. There were a lot of advantages for Adams.

I'm not at all upset. Internet makes it hard to tell tone so I get that a lot of dialogue comes across as upset or argumentative. There were advantages for Adams and his drops really hurt his production. I agree that Adams is underrated and was only wondering why people get hung up on the 1000 yards thing.
You answered that you're impressed with his TD total and that his yard total isn't impressive. I agree that it isn't. I see Adams as a receiver who will get open through footwork and route running. He doesn't have the speed to break out big yardage the way Nelson did. I don't know if that makes him elite or not. I do think after 2018 we'll have a much better idea of what Adams is capable of.
I have enjoy our back and forth DraftHobbiest and appreciate that you back up what you say with stats, ideas, and examples. Sorry that I'm coming across as upset and hope this clears the air.
