I agree with the consensus and expect the Packer to win this game. I think the Packers will start strong and continue that way. The Packers running backs and the Rodgers to Adams attack will dominate the game and I expect the Packers to come away with a victory 37-17.

I will just take a win even if by one point, or even on a questionable call. Don't care! Just win baby....just Win! A win is a win is a win! Guaranteed the 49's are going to pull several trick plays at key times.

Been busy this week so do not know if anyone has discussed this could possibly be Rodgers, and/or Adam's last game in a Packer jersey should they lose?

I think the Cleveland game back on Christmas Day may provide a clue to what kind of game to expect tonight. I read the Niners have been looking rather closely at that game tape in their prep themselves.

The Niners are better but similarly structured as the Browns. We will recall that the Pack won that by only 2 points and gave up over 200 rushing yards. But they got the benefit of 4 INTs and a strong second quarter push by the offense; which went cold in the second half.

When the 49ers beat the Packers in the championship game 2 years ago they rushed for 285 yds. The defense this time has to at least halve that total at worst. Get 4-5 sacks on Jimmy G and snare at least 2 INTs.

San Fran. will run on the Packers and produce a few "explosive" plays. But the Packers have to hold them to field goals, like Dallas did last week, as the extent of the damage.

The Packers won't give them the benefit of all the Cowboys' mistakes. No 14 penalties and no turnovers.

The offense may play like it has tended to all year. Hopefully they will start fast and get out front like they did in the earlier game this season but I wouldn't bet on it. Against Cleveland the offense started slow, got going in the late first qtr and second to go up 21-12 at the half but then scored only 3 in he second half when they had the chance to throw the dagger.

I expect the defense to give ground but to come up with timely stops and plays at critical moments. The offense may be stymied in parts of the game but won't be stopped cold. Special teams won't be a decisive factor; which basically means they won't hurt the Packers in a big way.

I see this game deep into the 4th qtr with the Packers clinging to a 1 point lead when the MVP and HOF in Aaron Rodgers comes forth and he takes the offense in for the game clinching score 24-16.

Of all the playoff teams this team has the best chance to beat the Packers. They are just built to take advantage of our weaknesses . To be the best you have to beat the best. GPG!

I stopped reading all the previews , too much negativtiy , all about those great 49ers and how hard it will be. I don`t care, Packers are #1 seed and it is about time they play like one. But usuallually Packers do well in this round of playoffs.Game is in the middle of the night for me, at 2:30 am. I watched tens of PAckers games live but I will prefer sleeping this time. I will watch replay in the morning and I expect the Packers to play next week. GO PACK GO, from Slovenia
