Nags - I heard MLF reference this too in his press conference, you seem to agree that the 2nd INT is not on Love. Watching the play, that is confusing. He seemed to be saying that the WR wasn't at the right depth (15-20 yards), but Baun was at the 10 yard mark so it seems like it wouldn't matter where the WR was behind him. To me, this seems like the worst of the 3 INTs (but what do I know).

The Packers over the years have become a tease. One step away from the Super Bowl since winning it all in 2011 (2015, 2017, 2020, 2021): losses in the NFC Championship Game. Win a playoff game last year and take the eventual NFC champion 49ers down to the wire and just miss another trip to the NFC Championship: follow it up this year with a disjointed, mistake-filled effort in the Wild Card Round after two poor performances to finish the regular season. Just when it seems this franchise is ready to move in to the upper echelons of the NFL - turns out it can't get over the hump.
Now there are genuine questions if the current head coach and quarterback are the ones to get the Packers to another Super Bowl title. A couple days removed from a dispiriting defeat is not the time to be making final decisions about the team's future, but it is fair to question if this team has gone as far as MLF and Love are able to take it.
My only advice to Packer fans (and to myself) is: keep expectations low, believe progress when we actually see it reflected in the standings and in playoff results, and enjoy the games and don't take them as life and death.
