All offseason the everything is duckies and bunnies crowd ate up all the propaganda that the purveyors of positivity kept feeding them; this will be a great defense, Sammy Watkins and Christian Watson will make up for Davante's absence, this roster is as talented as any in the NFL, the Pack has gone "all in" and so on and so on.

Time to tell the truth.

On offense, the Packers management caved and paid ARod yet again because they know Love can't play and they were terrified about a potential backlash if Rodgers left and they were left with nothing at QB.

We now have an old (soon to be 39 year old) QB, veteran sloths along with a couple of green as green can be rookies at WR, no real receiving threat at TE, a couple of Tackles coming off ACLs, a guard who can't play, and oh yeah 2 really good RBs who we criminally underutilize.

On defense, we have supposedly the most talented squad in a decade being coordinated by 2-time loser Joe Barry who will depart Green Bay with a coaching reputation that will rival Maurice Drayton's when he is finally shown the door.

The D COULD NOT STOP a hobbled Daniel Jones and his merry band of WRs who nobody ever heard of yesterday. Keep drafting defense in round 1 and paying them all big $ and maybe, one day they might actually become a top defense ... once a competent defensive coordinator lands in Green Bay.

Lotta season left. 2 more games with Detroit and another 1 with Chicago. Who knows, maybe the Vikings stumble and we win another NFC North Title. So very exciting.

Just to piggy back, I say the Pack org made a huge mistake to keep the fans happy by not getting rid of Rodgers and Adams two years ago, not last year, and getting a ton on picks and rebuilding quickly.
Ya there would have been pain and a lot of angst by the fans but gee, Mahomes, Hebert, Burrows, those guys can kind of throw a football too.
Spielman was a genius at getting rid of guys who could still play and had value then bundling picks to get into the early rounds and draft talent: Jefferson, Smith, Cook, DIggs, Hunter. Those guys werent sitting at the end of round one waiting for Gutt to pick them.

Best recap I've read of the overall picture of the Packers situation. Not many still believe this demonstratively pathetic coaching can win a SB, and most are pretty much done with our diva QB. He's just not fun to watch anymore as his play seems uninspired, and sorry for the cheap shot but with his whiny body language and idiotic woke haircut he's not very pleasant to look at either.

Good. The Packers gave life support to another team in need of a lift
Bad: Rodgers has one receiver he trusts everyone else is left out, running routes all day for nothing. Oh, Lazard dropped two so for sure he is toast in the mind of the passing guru.
Ugly: The ugly is yet to come: Dallas, Rams, Eagles, Bills. You will see not only ugly but the end of the Packer Dynasty as we knew it. Hey it lasted a long time. The rebuild with the little money on hand will be years in the making and instead of pain at the pump it will be pain at the park. Lets hope it aint the 50 year curse of the Lions.

And think about - we have a week to listen to (1) MLFs weak ass excuses as to the stupid decisions he made, (2) why Amari Rodgers still takes up a valuable roster spot on this team, and (3) Joe Barrys' usual excuse that its the players lack of execution of his lame defensive scheming.

Good: Cobb, Lazard, Lewis
Bad: MLF, Barry, AR
Ugly: “That’s what happens when you don’t come ready to play, not that we didn’t come ready to play…”. —MLF. WTF.

That’s what is said when a coach has nothing to offer.

I thought Slaton shone, though woefully underused.

I was carving pumpkins with my 2.5 YO grandson instead of watching the game. Man o man am I glad about that decision.
Haven't seen the game yet, probably won't. Have read many articles about the loss.
IF MLF really said what Pkrbkrjim quoted above, I wouldn't have let him back on the plane as he clearly hasn't got a clue.
I'll take Dan Campbell and his passion about the game over the perfectly manicured but totally clueless and overmatched MLF! Definition of an empty suit.
I'm not sure that any three of us on this board could do a worse job than those three, and I'm betting we'd do better. We'd have to run the ball, as none of us likely can throw it more than 10 yards. What a radical idea that would be!
MLF, JB and AR have got to go today if we plan on turning this thing around before the end of the year.
GPG!

The Good: Since I'm still so pissed from the overall performance yesterday, I will go with all the Paker fans who showed up in numbers and gave incredible support throughout the entire game.

The Bad: Players named Rodgers. One has an all-world resume and needs to start putting his effort into the game each and every week. The other one just needs to go. I cannot believe there isn't a street free agent that cannot do a better job fielding punts and kick-offs.

The Ugly: Joe Barry. He has a resume also and it is dreadful. I was suspect that this was a top 5 defense coming into the season but he clearly is the architect and he has built a house that is ready to fall apart.

I'd have to go back and watch again, but I thought that Rasul Douglas was just horrifyingly bad yesterday. Both Stokes and Savage looked bad.

It's well past time to get rid of Amari.

I fear that any hope of Watson being a factor this year is fading. Not impossible just yet, but fading pretty quick.

Yeah, Cobb looked pretty decent. But that's the thing about Cobb. He always looks decent right up until he gets hurt six games in and then he's never the same for the rest of the year.

In the first half, I thought this was going to be a cakewalk. I just don't get the Jekyll and Hyde routine.

The good? Well, it's only one game. I thought TJ Slaton looked pretty good.

Time to call up Toure. Give the kid a shot.
Amari provides nothing.
Watson needs some rest. It's too bad because I think he has some real talent. Don't understand the underutilization further down field. The jet-motion play has been sniffed out.
Like Cobb, but He shouldn't be relied on to carry the team all year.
Love Lazard's game. He just a bit too slow to get open consistently.

It is criminal that ANYONE would dare to compare Rasul Douglas to Woodson. Not sure if Woodson should laugh or just be pissed.

LaFleur isn’t bad he’s worse. Barry is his man and if it’s Rodgers, he’s a willing facilitator. To add to that, a team less motivated and less innovative than yet another opponent. No plan to get the most out of this Roster is visible. Cant even stick with the run when the run is working consistently.

Murphy is the emperor to whom LaFleur sold the new clothes.

MLF is a man who NEVER should have been elevated above the level of OC. He can't get tough and make quick and decisive changes much like the management layers above him. His record with GB is not applicable as he has done it ALL WITH RODGERS. Until I see what he can do without AR, my opinion above stands!

The Good: Well our fans showed out during our European vacation to London. Until the 2nd half began, things were going great…

The Bad: Early results for Mr. Wyatt and Mr. Watson are not looking good. Wyatt was inactive and Watson went down yet again with a hamstring. Year one for these two is looking like a bust. Of course, perhaps we shouldn’t have been relying on rookies but I was told draft and develop and we got this. So…

The Ugly: The play calling in the 2nd half. Look no further than the 3 and out with 3 long passes nowhere near a receiver. Whoever made these calls Rodgers or LaFleur it deserves a 2nd guess. We also have a 260 pound back with “quads” the size of my beer infused gut and on 3rd and 2 and 4th and 2 we chose to pass having both batted down. Sorry Coach, talking about a “loaded box” is loser talk. Man up, pick your best O lineman and hand the ball to your bowling ball back and hope for the best. Ridiculous.

I say he is not on the cutting board yet due to they know what talent or lack of he is working with and his scheme fits that. The scheme of this defense, and its not all Joe, put pressure on the QB and make whomever find an opening in the zone and we should be able to stop the passing game.
Our pass rush sucks and our zone is pourous. Not working.

The Good: Cobb, Lazard, Most of the first half.

The Bad: The entire second half and our coaching staff.

The Ugly: Rasul Douglas with 3 penalties. 3 and out with 3 long passes after the Giants 14 play TD scoring drive. At least run the ball on 1st and 2nd down and give the defense a little rest. Also those would be the downs to run the clock down to zero for the defense to rest. Totally stupid!!!
3rd and 2 and we attempt 2 passes which are batted down.
WTF??!!! Remember Dillon is on the team!!! More stupidity!!! WTFx2!!!

We can blame Rodgers for offense and Barry for the defense all we want. The bottom line is that MLF is the HC and he is responsible. He is accountable for the on field play and it’s outcome. No excuses. The buck stops with MLF. Thanks, Since ‘61

I certainly agree with since ‘61. Our D has underperformed badly. Poor pass D against MIN, poor run D against CHI, poor D against NE with a third string QB and finally yesterday’s debacle. We were good against TB but that’s about it. The whole coaching staff needs to right this ship soon, especially Lafleur and Barry. Barry needs to change things up IMO, it’s obviously not working.

With no disrespect to Cheesehead1 intended, this is a very soft rebuttal of GBs coaching - especially Barry. I understand that there a lot of well heeled GBs fans still out there, but how can coaching not be seen as pitiful to this point?

The audacity of you all turning on your multiple 13-3 season HC and multiple MVP QB. Luck has run out folks and it's gonna take actual game planning, adjustments in game and good play calling for our HC to win from here on out and our QB is actually gonna have to lead the team without stares and looking up to the sky. It's just a game.....maybe time to get on your knees and pray for our team and gifting these people with all these skills they have yet to have shown.

There wasn't anyone good in this game. If there was, they would have won. The considerations just had a moment!
Bad. The Defense is still getting pushed around. They haven't given up the big play. But anybody with good TEs can beat this defense.
Ugly- Throwing deep with the wrong WRs. I'd rather see the west Coast Offense!

The good:
-The first half offense and the first two drives of defense
-Aaron Jones
-Randall Cobb
-Kenny Clark
-Allen Lazard

The bad:
-Pass defense, I mean what is this zone coverage?
-QB containment on a mobile quarterback

The ugly:
-I have seen enough of the wasted timeouts. Take the 5 yard penalties, they're worth so much less than a timeout, especially in these close games and especially if you're going to throw an incomoletion or get sacked anyway. You have to wonder what would've happened if they had 3 timeouts at the end instead of two.
-The entire second half
-The play calling, both offensive and defensive
-Aaron Rodgers throwing bombs that fall hopelessly incomplete after having a good first half doing what was working
-The unwillingness to stick with what's working and make adjustments when there is none that need to be made, as well as not adjusting when there needs to be a big change
-You talk about Aaron wasting payroll, but what about the other Aaron? They paid Jones all of this money, and for what? The dude is electric every time he gets the ball in his hands and they almost refuse to use him. Jones should be getting ~15 carries and ~20 touches a game. Dillon should be getting ~10 carries and ~15 touches a game. That is a recipe for winning football.
-Speaking of people named Rodgers, someone put an APB out for Amari Rodgers, cause he has been nowhere to be found. What a waste of another third round draft pick. We haven't hit on a 3rd rounder since Morgan Burnett.
-Boy they really meant it when Rodgers said they want to "air it out" and it's pitiful. Whether it's him, the receivers, a combination of both, idk. Stop wasting time in critical points in a game to try and spark a connection. Save it for the 1st and 5, the 2nd and 1 and the free plays to hit the big ball. You can't walk out there and throw 3 incomplete fly routes in a row and expect to come out winning.

The Good- Mason and the FG operation, Cobby, Jones speaking out that he and Dillon can make two yards, and my dental appointment went much better than anticipated.
The Bad: Game plan, lack of adjustments, #12 non-hall of fame style of play.
The Ugly: We played ugly, look ugly playing it, and didn't find a way to win playing ugly.

There is plenty of bad and ugly from this game, but I'll give it a try:

1. The GOOD - GB Fans who went to London or watched this game on TV.

2. the BAD - Selling fans that this years' GB Packers are a contender. Shame on trying to oversell sell this poor quality PRODUCT to fans!

3. the UGLY - Plenty to choose from. But I am going to skip right to the top - its the poor, mismanagement of this team from the CEO down to the miserable coaching. Until these "posers" are replaced, I will not blame the players as a whole (Gutes also as an exception in this blanket statement). With Mark Murphy as CEO, this team will never achieve what it should have with Rodgers. He is a dinosaur and resistant to change. He is a perfect example of the Peter Principle - he is at least one level above his level of competence. And my guess is that he is the reason why Mo Drayton was not fired mid-season last year and why Joe Barry is allowed to continually butcher this defense into subpar play...

The excuses that GB couldn't get 2 yards in 2 running plays by MLF is also ugly from a lower level but just another symptom of a bad culture that starts from the top. If the Packers start de-evolving against the Jets next week, get ready to hear a lot of boos. But don't mistake the boos target as the players. Set your sites higher up in this mismanaged organization which is resistant to decisive and effective change!

Good: The Giants who kept at it and won despite getting behind. The Packers should show such determination.

Bad: The Packers, who played poorly on both sides of the ball

Ugly: Aaron Rodgers . It looks like his late career dead cat bounce is over. He made poor decisions and executed them poorly. Thanks for the Super Bowl, Aaron. It’s time to ride into the sunset.

Deepest sympathy: To the Packer fans across the pond who finally got to see the team in person....and then, this.

Good: First half offense, but then the rug got whipped out from under us by the AR/MLF tandem.

Bad: Lack of adjustments by the second half defense; once D. Jones started to roll out (proving he wasn't as gimpy as thought), the Packers had no answers.

Ugly: Barry is just hellbent to continue with his zone, even though it may help to play more man....Also, what's the deal with the confusion in the secondary? These are veterans, after all.

Honorable mention ugly: Gute and his penchant for trading up in the draft. Here's the best argument yet for letting the draft come to you. The exception would be Savage, a reliable and durable player, but we're still talking about his tackling issues.
