After Bostick was released by the Packers on Tuesday, the Vikings claimed the tight end who played with the Packers for two seasons. Bostick follows a slew of Packers who have taken the Green Bay to Minneapolis train upon leaving the Packers. Greg Jennings, Brett Favre, Ryan Longwell, Desmond Bishop, and Robert Ferguson have all left the Packers and ended up playing with the Vikings.

Why? I thought Spielman doesn't draft low draft picks or sign undrafted FA? LOL. It really is cool that after he was spouting off his mouth his boy Rick signed Bostick right away :)

Hey 4th and 1.... Did I call this one or not! LMAO...Just another example of Cows "Little Brother" inserting foot in mouth. The part about trading Jared Allen is pretty good too. I mean does the guy have a clue what his football team is REALLY doing?

Actually Rick Spielman doesn't use late round or undrafteds but rather finds good quality free agents to fill a particular hole and trades guys with value like Jared Allen and gets top draft picks for.
The Vikes had two first round picks last year and three the year before. The quality of that team is reaching playoff level. They will not have a Bostick. Too stupid to learn the playbook.

Just another example of TT's draft and development failure. Way too many Brian Bosticks passing through Green Bays doors. Time TT uses his money wisely and gets some free agents with experience.

While Lyerla was in GB, he did nothing to justify the scouting reports that talked about his great physical skills. He wasn't very productive at Oregon either. Justifying that by him getting kicked off the team is hardly a strong selling point. He sure isn't the first work out warrior that can't translate his athleticism into production on the field.
He picked up a DUI shortly after he was cut last year, increasing the concerns about him off the field.
He hasn't been signed by anyone now that rosters have expanded to offseason levels. There is a reason for that. He offers little potential beyond upping the total of suspensions handed down by the NFL. I have never seen a UDFA get so much unjustified support. It's baffling to me.

Can anyone clear up something for me? Why do I have to read the name Lyerla every day in comments here? What has that guy done anywhere, be it Oregon or for the Packers? He sucked in camp, and the sucked is with a capital S. The guy is not good, and he can't play in the NFL. Not only did he not do anything of note, but he also have off the field issues. So why do people keep bringing him up???
