Jeez; Nathan whoever is full of crap- I have never seen (although I do not read everything they write) them downgrade another player for an almost turnover.

The subjective review bewilders me- and the uptick grades just demonstrates that their analysis is crap. the fumble explanation is nonsense- without the defensive hold Rodgers throws a possible TD on that play. So please Nathan get a real job or some objective criterion!

Nathan Jahnke and Ben Stockwell of PFF are out of their minds. Their giving Aaron Rodgers negative rating was their way of gaining public attention to their worthless website. Thanks but no thanks. Your website is not worth my time.

One TD to Cobb came out of his hand in 0.03 of a second. Does pff think he throws to quick?

Oh, big news... PFF refigured Aaron Rodgers grade from below average to average.

Ask Andy Reid or, for that matter, ask any other NFL head coach or offensive coordinator if Aaron Rodgers' play against the Chiefs was average and they would all laugh in your face!

Rodgers has just been named the NFC Offensive Player of the Week. I don't know about grading other positions but when it comes to quarterbacks PFF should shut the hell up. All they managed to do this week was to embarrass themselves.

This was discussed at length on ESPN NFL today podcast., and totally dissed.

BTW: On today's podcast, Andrew Brandt gave a fascinating account of the night Aaron was drafted. Andrew made the call to Rodgers' agent, but Rodgers answered the phone instead. Rodgers then had to bide his time for ten awkward minutes while the Packers waited for trade offers. Rodgers was extremely pissed off by that point, having been humiliated for 6 hours and then 10 additional minutes. When no trade offers were forthcoming, he became the pick.

Brandt says that draft night still motivates Rodgers to this day. BTW: Jon Gruden had promised that the Bucs would take Rodgers, but then took Cadillac instead.

Also interesting was the fact that each off-season, with Favre out-of-town, Rodgers ran the entire show in Green Bay. Mini-camps, OTA's, etc...The players loved him from the start, and the front office was blown away by his smarts, skills, cool and humor. They knew 100% that he would be the QB of the future.

Also, Brandt discussed how Favre and Rodgers eventually become quite friendly, but that Favre's attempt to return soured relations.

Rodgers has a dislike for the arrogant behavior of certain QB's. Favre was not among these. Rodgers is really down-to-earth, joshing with UDFA's who are surprised to discover he already knows who they are. Another example, he roomed with the assistant trainer for his first couple of years.

Kudos to Nathan for coming on the show. I believe that PFF can give up to a +2.0 to a -2.0 for any one play. I think it is wrong to not give a small + grade for the 3 TD passes for example. Even though they may not have been difficult passes, Rodgers threw them on time, hit the WR in rhythm so he did not have to adjust or slow down. Good execution should results in positive few tenths grade for each of those throws.

On the fumble, why are they gradeing a play that is not a play. Nathan didn't say it here < PFF graded Rodgers negatively on the almost interception. Well, I hoped they keep up their good work and Rodgers continues to win the Offensive Player of the Week. Go Pack!!!
