I agree re: Quay Walker's athleticism and passion. He reminds me of Quincy Williams on the Jets--Force multiplier.

--I hope you're right about Walker because with improvement he certainly could elevate this run D. However, right now he's just too slow on his reads.
-- Wicks and Melton (our next punt and kick returner) will be most improved.
-- I believe we save 20 mill cap space with a Bak release and only 2.5 with Campbell. I could be wrong as football contracts are harder than a 1000 piece jigsaw puzzle to solve.

We'll see but right now Walker could go either way. Walker still hitting the wrong gaps on run fits is troubling to say the least. If he continues to do that with a new coaching staff a replacement will have to be drafted.

My concerns as well, LL. I know Quay isn't going to be asked to split the atom any time soon, but even if we toss his Wonderlic score out the window we still see his repeated errors in judgement and poor impulse control. Hell of an athlete. Plays hard. Could go either way.

I love Walker's energy and ability. He reminds me that there's a cost associated with paying millions of dollars to guys who were lighting farts for laughs just a short while ago. Young men do things that are ......not smart. It's the nature of our species.

Hang onto Walker. He's only 23 with two seasons of experience, and , he'll get older and smarter and better, just like most people. Remember when Oren Burks wasn't good enough to play for us?

My son is 34 years-old. I'm still hopeful his prefrontal cortex will develop,

The jury is still in session concerning Walker. It seems when they were passing out brains, he thought they said trains, and missed his appointment.
As many you point out, he has the athletic skills, but where are the fumble recoveries, the interceptions, the game changing plays a star player makes. Maybe they’re just around the corner—I hope so.
Go Packers!!!
