I not so much on the Adams bandwagon versus us getting a secondary that can get us off the field. Teams again moved down the field at ease passing their way to the end zone. Thus, keeping Rodgers and company on the bench.
First Adams is human and thus, a 30 year receiver has seen his best days already so why pay him like he is a top notch 26 year old.
Second, if Rodgers did target him ten times more then anyone else he wouldnt put up the numbers he does. Problem the other receivers get tired of route running when they know the ball aint coming their way so they arent prepared when it does come.
The Rodgers Adams act is worn and time to spread it around and put a real offense together.

Your post prompted me to look up Jerry Rice seasons when he was 30 to 34 years old. He averaged 1405 yds and 12 TDs. And no games missed. I’ll concede he was a unicorn but DA is not destined to have a severe drop off.

Just got thru watching a clip of the 9ers-Bengals SB where Rice pulled 2 people from the secondary to cover him and the QB threw the ball to #82 in stride on a post for the win, Yea......That never happens in GB.

John Taylor was a Legitimate # 2 receiver in the progression tree. Montana was smart enough to understand the Game and toss to him.

Okay so let me understand. You are "worn" out by 1500+ yards receiving and 11 TDs? I think they really missed MVS in the playoff loss, and they need to add speed, but you're going to argue against targeting the most productive WR on the field? Explain that logic? Adams is widely considered the best or one of the best off the line of scrimmage in the NFL, and his reliability and shiftiness have led to nothing but production. Don't see any evidence of other wideouts not running their routes. And you might have to live with this now for awhile, cuz GB decided to go this route.

What you're missing is the offense could be so much more than just one guy if Rodgers would just swallow his pride and play within the scheme. But thats never going to happen. Even MVS admitted theres 2 different playbooks: Lafleur's playbook and Rodgers' playbook. I'll let you guess which one he runs when things get tight in big games. Hint: its not Lafleur's playbook.

Which makes Rodger's stare downs when a seldom thrown to receiver drops a pass all the more maddening. Not a great team mate.

Nags- Will you have any input with the name of Olive's dog? Star War themed name? Assuming your little cherubs pick a female dog what about Leia?

-or name the dog "Physician"; then when Nags walks him (or her) he can say, "Physician, heel thyself." Actually, if he's getting an older dog (wise as it will be at least potty trained) the dog will already have a name it responds to.
