Your Take on Watson? You Love Him. I agree take the game changer. Not the Cap Trouble!

Nags- Just think that you will soon need to find a slot of space in your hectic, time-challenged life, besides your daughters and Packer football, for Romulus or whatever your dogs name will be. It is so nice that there are still people out there with that open their hearts to furry little buddies. Funchess sounds like a unique name for the canine.

Watson and Bell. The Telephone Company.

In way too many simulations, Watson is gone at #53, although he's usually there at #28. If you want Watson, really want Watson, you have to pull the trigger at #28 or trade down a few spots. He's usually on the board at around #40.

Watson is big, and he's been productive. Bell is smoother, but still well over 6'0", so he's not a midget receiver. In most simulations, he's still there at #53, and #59, but rarely available at #92. So you'd most likely have to use one of our second round picks on himm.

I like Pierce, also, who is big and fast but will almost certainly take time to develop. He's usually available at #59, and frequently available at #92.

Some of these other possibilities like Dotson, Treylon, Olave,..... I have nothing against, I just think these three are the guys we could get on Day 2 , and we could get two of them. Together, they'd replace quite a few of Adams' snaps, catches, yards, etc.

Yes. I like Jahan Dotson and Christian Watson. That means they will not draft either. Seems every year the players I like and think would be a great fit does not get drafted. The Packers draft many years is an enigma. The draft pundits every year have Packers picks that are all over the place. They know it too. That Unpredictability probably helps the Packers, but this year I'm worried that every other team knows that the Pack needs at least two WRs and they will be tripping over themselves to get ahead of the Packers to get the WR they want.

My main concern this offseason is having the Packers give up 'a lot' of draft capital for a 29 or 30 year old WR such as Tyler Lockett as they put everything in to the next 2 seasons.

IF THEY FEEL THEY MUST HAVE AN EXPERIENCED WR than trade for a Metcalf or Brown that are around 24/25 years of age and extend contract.

My preference would be keeping our draft capital and intelligently maneuver around in the draft and select the two best WR's available. Talented and who will be around for say the next 7-8 seasons. That is how to maintain consistency and stay a winner year in and year out. There are very good WR's this year including my crush in Jameson William's who I know they won't take either because someone else sees the value, or simply because the Packers do not draft injured players. Every team in the league KNOW the Packers MUST draft WR's, so teams will trade up one or two spots to steal the Packers WR preference. Unfortunately the Packers are going to most likely need to trade up a couple spots in order to select the WR they covet as a result.

My top three favorite WR's this year are in no particular order are:

Jameson William's
Garrett Wilson
Jahan Dotson

Garrett and Jahan's talent and play style most like Adam's in draft. Garrett has uncanny moves breaking DB's ankles getting open. Dotson plays so much bigger than he is with the ability to one hand catch and high point the ball. He also can throw the ball very well on trick plays.

Jameson is a guy who can take the top off defenses, and is a ST ace whether as a kickoff returner and gunner.

Christian Watson is more similar to Jameson but bigger without the ability to cut and change directions quite as fluidly as Jameson. Watson would be a great selection in round 2 with a slight move up.

One of the Pickens, Burks, Olave, or Watson's of the world can be had in early to mid round of 2nd.

Sure would be nice to get either Garrett, Jahan, or Jameson with the #22, and either Burks, Pickens, Olave, or Watson in round 2. Olave is good but do not feel he is as good as the top three mentioned. Bottom-line the Packers should be able to get two very good WR's and possibly still select a top OT, or 5 technique with the 28 selection in Round 1. Packers are sitting really well with their draft capital though likely need to move up slightly in either 1st or 2nd round to make sure they get a favorite WR they have identified.
