Packers Practice Report: Davon House Sits Out

The Packers cornerback reportedly missed practice on Wednesday.

When the Green Bay Packers returned to work on Wednesday to begin on-field preparations for the Buffalo Bills, cornerback Davon House didn't take part, according to Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com:

House never appeared to leave the game against the Atlanta Falcons on Monday, nor has an injury been disclosed, so it's unclear why he wasn't participating in practice.

The Packers will release their first injury report of week on Wednesday afternoon, followed by head coach Mike McCarthy's press conference, so more information will be available then.

After suffering a hip injury in the Falcons game, it appeared Lacy was able to take part in practice, albeit on a limited basis:

Offensive lineman Josh Sitton took part in every practice on a limited basis last week for the first time since suffering a toe injury Week 8 against the New Orleans Saints, but it looks as if he's being sidelined, if only temporarily:

It's possible Sitton is just getting extra rest because of the quick turnaround after a Monday Night Football game.

I seem to recall House looking a bit shaken up after the almost INT in the endzone, like he landed awkwardly on his shoulder or something.

House probably feels bad for covering Julio Jones about 1000% better than Shields, so he's taking the day off to let Shields earn his job back. Very charitable of him.
