Packers Announce Two Minicamp Practices Open to the Public

Practices on Tuesday June 17 and Thursday June 19 will be open to the public.

The Green Bay Packers will have two minicamp practices open to the public next week on Tuesday June 17 and Thursday June 19, the team announced on Thursday.

Same as Organized Team Activities (OTAs), both practices will take place at 11:30 a.m. local time at Ray Nitschke Field.

As opposed to OTAs, all minicamp practices have mandatory participation.

During the tenure head coach Mike McCarthy, the Packers have traditionally held a team-building activity during minicamp such as bowling or dodgeball or clay-pigeon shooting. Presumably, such an activity will take place on Wednesday June 18 and will not be open to the public.

When minicamp concludes, players will be off until reporting for training camp on July 25, the first practice scheduled for July 26.
