Granted, I did not expect the Packers to be in the playoffs let alone win the first playoff game against Dallas. Even so, I absolutely do not expect the Packers to beat the 49s. No way. I actually expect the Packers to get their asses kicked.
But Katie bar the door if the Packers beat the 49s. I mean, man, what the hell kind of team are the Packers if they actually beat the 49s? A future dynasty? A team of destiny? A second coming of Lombardi?
But no way, I'm thinking. Reality hits the Packers, hard, tonight. They come back to earth. . . with a thump.

They're still a dynasty in the making even if they lose tonight. In this draft stock the O line. Continue developing the DBs. In 2025 create a championship DB unit, hopefully with a budget for FAs, too.

I'll admit that this has been a fun 4-5 game run that was totally unexpected after the 1st half of the season. But a "dynasty in the making" after one playoff win?
During a 30 or so year of HOF QB's, GB won exactly 2 SB's during that span. While enjoyable it was hardly a dynasty then either.
How about we just enjoy watching this team grow without bestowing them as a future dynasty?

Yes, all you need to do is remember that look at the end of last year, Rodgers and Cobb walking away .
