I have a few questions regarding the Lions tackle eligible: 1. If you look at the complete tape number 70 is walking towards the referee not the huddle like the rest of the team. 2. When Decker wasn’t announced as an eligible receiver why didn’t the lions call timeout? 3. Earlier interview Coach Campbell said he talked to the referees pregame about the play sending 2 tackles to the referee. It states in the rules you can’t use deception when changing eligibility status, which it appears Detroit was trying to do.

“As a reminder to clubs and players, an offensive player numbered 50 through 79, or 90 through 99, is permitted to line up as an eligible pass receiver,” NFL V.P. of officiating Walt Anderson explains in the 1:45 clip, a copy of which PFT has seen. “To allow the defense an opportunity to match personnel to avoid deception, and to ensure fairness, the player must immediately report the change in his eligibility status to the referee, who will inform the defensive team and will make an announcement to the stadium before that play.
“It is the responsibility of the player to be sure that change in status is clearly communicated to the referee by both a physical signal with his hands, up and down in front of his chest, and to report to the referee his intention to report as an eligible receiver. . . .

Mike, I love your passion! Of course your specialized knowledge too but you obviously love this team, and the game of football. I appreciate that this game really is a coin flip based on, which Packers team shows up? If they play their best I don't see how Chicago has a chance regardless of who is out. Even if the offense does well if our defense melts down like they have recently, da Bares could actually win.

Hopefully it's a good game and nobody gets hurt ...

It sounds like Andy Herman's show is delving into a breakdown of the Packers' recent victory against the Vikings and looking ahead to their upcoming game against the Bears
