Andrew, did you have a rough night? Very pessimistic, worst case analysis. I get it, you loved JSN, but guess what, many didn't. The development aspect of the TE's and Rec's is usually due to veterans in front of them and lack of opportunities. The door is wide open here and in MLF's scheme their inexperience should be minimized. The O-Line and play calling is what impacts the growth of QB's. Love will be fine. I'm very optimistic that the talent we have at the skill positions will show out.

Kyle, using your analysis being critical of the Van Ness Pick makes zero sense. You wanted an offensive player because they take time to develop and Love needs immediate help. Defensive players also need time to develop, and with the probability because of cap issues Preston Smith won’t be with the Packers next year. You said draft a pass rusher next year. I disagree, if Smith is indeed gone we need to develop a pass rusher this year….

20 years counted.
According to Pro Football Reference, most drafted players are busts. the only problem with their system is they don’t take into account the round they where picked. But anyway…
16.7% don’t even end playing for the drafting team (20 years average)
37% are considered ‘useless’, or busts.
5.3% are ‘poor’. Busts such as Jamarcus Russell are here.
So 69% are ‘poor’ or worst.
10.5% average
12.3% good
6.8% great
1% legendary
That gives 20.1% good. 2 out of 10.
