I’m an Adrian Amos fan, but I’d have to agree on S Anthony Johnson Jr. being a draft steal late R7. Wow. That kid impresses the hell outta me. So much so, I don’t think the Packers need to add a veteran there.

Hell, I’m a huge fan of UDFA S Christian Morgan out of Baylor as well. No need to add a vet.

Let’s allow these young players to learn in real time, take some lumps, but get back on the horse for another go.

Ben’s take on Dontayvion Wicks aligns with mine. Had that Virginia program stayed on that same 2021 course & not taken a swirlee, Wicks might have been an R1 selection or high R2.

I strongly encourage my friends here to forget Wicks’s 2022 season. The program was in turmoil.

I love what Wicks brings to the Packers as an X WR. Phenomenal, sure talent with Davante Adamsesque separation at the line & catching ability. Wicks is also TOUGH!!!*

Another UDFA pairing I’d love your thoughts on is WR Deuce Watts. Wow. Seems kind of a mash up of Robert Brooks & Davante Adams.

This felt like listening to a couple of cheerleaders for 40 minutes.

I was a little confused by the discussion about Lukas Van Ness. Ben Fennel views him as a defensive lineman and essentially a replacement for Dean Lowery. Seems to me like he will be playing mostly on the edge and sometimes moving inside on passing downs, like Zadarius Smith used to. I expect him to be more effective on the edge with his speed and to have less of an impact on the inside, which is a hard place for a defensive rookie to make a living.
