Good Lord ! Half the stream going on about Rodgers................and when they DO get to talk draft they say no edge guys worth a first round pick - HUH !

Anderson and Tyree Wilson are gone, ok. Myles Murphy and Lukas Van Ness have a solid chance of being on the board........and I'm betting at least one of them is ranked above WR Smith-Njigba on their board. Nolan Smith is another guy who will go in round one (but given his size probably not to Green Bay).

In a draft where the TE and Edge positions are good and deep, you can get a very good Edge at 13 and a very good TE at 42.

Who have the Packers had in at WR as their allowed 30 visits ? Dontayvion Wicks (4th to 5th rounder, probably) and Rashee Rice (2nd round). Look around at what everyone is saying about WRs in this draft. There are no real no.1 receiver types, but there is good depth. That says WR somewhere in round 2-5 to me, not at 13.

It's ok to love the idea of Smith-Njigba at 13, but lets be honest about the other options, like OT, Edge, possibly even Branch at Safety, though I doubt that myself, as his RAS isn't what the Packers usually want with an early pick. I believe The Packers WILL get a pass catcher in round two, but its more likely to be a TE than a WR. Maybe they get one of each, we'll see.

Turophile. Exactly! Could not have said it any better. A premier Edge is priority number one at 13. TE ,OL or WR can be addressed in rounds 2-3, It ain't rocket science.

a premiere Edge can be selected in round 2 just as well as round 1. While I have my preferences on who the Packers draft (mainly in say the first 5 rounds anyways) I'd prefer they lean towards drafting the BPA in round 1, and round 2. If close between two players then the player who best fits our needs a little better.

Well I'm super happy with the Hercules pick.
Sack the Qb ,is big time, plus he has blocked kicks ..that tells u he's football ready. Looks like Ted Hendricks to me.or JJ watt...I was surprised at the undersized guys in first round.i hope we get Branch. I'm still going Defense,,,
