If you had asked me a month ago if Wilson or Rodgers would be traded to another team, I would have said Rodgers hands down. But as I think about it more, I am starting to get #12 - maybe for him its "better the devil you know"? My sense is that Rodgers is losing his edge / hunger to win the "big game". He likes the big won/loss regular season records that GB gets in the NFC North with gaudy stats that give him annual MVP nods.

Going to Denver would have meant competing in the most QB-intensive division in football. Winning wouldn't be anywhere near as easy as it is in the NFC North along with the constant comparisons to other disivional QBs like Mahommes, Carr and Herbert.

Rodgers is still playing at an MVP level. No disputing that. But does he have the hunger, the fire in his belly to win a tough game in the playoffs to lead his team to a Super Bowl? He sh** the bed this year against SF where he became mono-focussed on #17 after the first touchdown drive. He won 15 years ago, but now? Looking back to his only Super Bowl appearance, he was an underdog and his team squeaked into the playoff as the #6 seed with no expectations of winning the Super Bowl. He was HUNGRY back then.

So which #12 do we want back? Its pretty clear I want the 2010 version back - at least mentally. But then, I don't give a rats rear end if they have a gaudy regular season record and big stats. But give me a Super Bowl appearance with a hungry Rodgers and then you're talking!
