Hey Folks. You want to see a Badgers team that has a legit shot at a national title? It's happening right now. It's Badger Women's Volleyball. The newspaper said it was a sold-out show last night. They were being nice; there is plenty of room in the third ring. They are playing the second round tonight, and they will be playing two more rounds next weekend.

And let me tell you that they are awesome. The Badgers have been legitimately in the hunt for the last few years and this looks like the year they can get it done. The defense is much improved this year and the Badgers are led by one of the all-time greats, Dana Rettke. Rettke is one of the few four-year First Team All-Americans to ever play the game. She's a 6-8 dancing aspen who batted over .500 last night. COVID has given Dana a second "last chance" at a national title and she has been pouring it on in the last couple of weeks. The team suffered a couple of blown ACLs to key starters this season, but lately other players have got their grove going and the team is looking ready for a title shot.

If you come down and watch seats are also dirt cheap. You can get yourself into volleyball for an entire season for less than the cost of one Badger football game. And the best part - most seats are not even reserved, so if you don't want to sit in the nosebleeds just get there a little early.
