I didn't see it brought up, but it looks like the weather should be okay for this one as well. I'm up in Seattle right now, and if we had to play today it might be a disaster. Very strong winds, over 20 mph, and periodic rain would reek havoc. Sunday it is supposed to be the typical Seattle drizzle, but the winds should be much lighter.

Hey TommyG, Here in WI, the GB stations have been calling for rain & windy conditions. I've been reading a lot of SMACK talk from the Seattle fans. What do you hear out there in Seattle. Every Sports commentator I can think of, has picked Seattle, with the exception of 2, & those were Jason & Mark from WBAY's "On The Clock". What's the take on the game out there? Anybody giving GB a chance to WIN OUTRIGHT??

"Seattle in a blow-out". Some of the local sports guys have a Super Bowl esque dismantling in mind. They've even picked up on the lacy sore knee in practice and started blowing that horn. They must be trolling packers boards. I think I heard one of the late night guys saying it was going to be close, but the daytime guys are all hawks. Their keys to victory: the fans, beast mode, legion of boom... They have a trademarked name for every aspect of their team. Re-Pete signs adorn every billboard, and 12 flags fly on every building.

Rain is a relative term up here. It's not a shower of drops, more of a heavy and constant drizzle. Winds are expected to be 3-8 mph. The rain is supposed to be before 1000. My experience says that things will be wet with light breezes. That field turf gets slick when it's wet. Football cleats can be adjusted but visiting teams tend to go too short as the turf feels dry. The result is a slip and slide for defenders.

Which is why the team didn't meet their Super Bowl expectations. These guys that the team needed to take a step didn't take a step.
