The missed opportunity was last years # 1 seed.. there is still a hangover from Mercedes Lewis fumble. They have been playing scared since that fumble.. there needs to be a clean sweep of the non aggressive players on both sides of the ball.
It was almost a replay albeit a different set up, to kenny king vs Tampa in 2020. I would rather have seen mason crosby in the defensive backfield after the Hail Mary he gave up.
Surprised there was so much focus on not going on 4th down in that game. With king on the field they weren’t going to win.. period.
There is nobody to single out like king , now.. but MLF is starting to make me think he can’t handle it with 12 at MVP level. If nothing else he can’t pick assistants ( beside Bisaccia who had a resume and has lived up to it)

Interesting that Clark's MO for this season was to keep his weight down. From Ty Dunne's profile on him: "He began last season at 310 pounds and finished at 320. This season, he’s aiming to start and finish at 305."

Well, he definitely looks lighter. But he also looks like a guy who's getting pushed around a lot. Maybe it's not his weight, but hard else to explain his huge drop-off in play.

Douglas, on the other hand, looks a lot heavier. Everyone got a good laugh out of him talking about how he's a "fat boy" while listing off his favorite Thanksgiving food. But there's no doubt about, the dude is out of shape, at least relative to what he was last year. Not shocking by the way, he was a practice squad guy fighting for his NFL life. Now he got paid.

Yes, the defense needs revamping with much more flexibility and aggression.

Yes, Josh Myers is alarming. Packer fans have been spoiled with very good to great centers for generations and now, it's a problem.

And yes, Matt's own OJT should produce eventually. He could use a bit more Lombardi intimidation and a bit less... Bud Grant's grandson as an ivy league professor.

Jason Kelce had a field day. Practically invited to get to the 2nd tier without hindrance. PFF gave him a 91.7 grade. He is a good player, so something in the high 70s or low 80s would not have been surprising. Miles Sanders got a 90.4 grade. Hurts killed GB. He got a 78 overall grade, but an elite 88.4 grade for his running.

Amos and to a lesser extent Campbell were limiting gains last year. In prior years HHCD would herd the guy out of bounds, but Amos made a tackle several yards shorter than where Ha-Ha would have. Not this year. The 3rd and 14 example is a great example.

People keep telling me that Myers is just inconsistent, that he has 10 great plays but for reasons unknown I only see the 10 terrible plays. Maybe so. I did check out a film review and one great play was him driving a LB back 10 yards, enough so that "AR could have walked in, but AR chose otherwise." I kinda think a big OC like Myers ought to move an ILB the hell out of the way. It is a good play, but didn't change my mind. Time will tell whether Gute just outsmarted himself taking his guy instead of the center everybody else and his brother had as the highest rated center left in Creed Humphries, or if GB can get a year or two out of Myers of good play before they have to pay him. Jenkins ain't playing OG that well anyway, so moving Jenkins to center and Myers to guard (or Tom) might be worth exploring.
