The frustration is obvious. It would be great to loss a game in an original way instead of in classic MM fashion. Maybe a smart call the did not work, not a QB by Rodgers. My oh my did creative play calling appear on one side.

This game showcased two vastly different play callers. McDaniels takes advantage of the strengths of his guys, MM not so much. I was shocked initially when he had Aaron Jones run that dive play again from inside the 1, then...I wasn't.

So many problems with the Packers, where do I begin? Let's begin with the Packers seem to draft the "stupidest" players. TY Montgomery, Brandon Bostick, Whitehead for being the idiot that hit back, roughing the kicker on 4th and 21, fumbling the ball, Breeland can't cover for crap. How about overpaid players led by Clay Matthews? Two tackles tonight. Two games in a row the Packers got burnt on trick plays, a fake punt last week and a flea flicker tonight. Stupid players or stupid coaches? Rodgers just isn't the Rodgers he was a few years ago, way overpaid now. Minny is better than the Packers and guess what folks, so are the Bears. Without Gronk, without their #1 RB, Brady tore apart the Packers defense. Sorry folks, Brady is not the GOAT (Marino, Peyton, Montana), but he's certainly more reliable and consistent than Rodgers. And why can't Rodgers ever get the snap with more than a half second left on the clock? He cost the Packers four points by settling for a FG due to the clock penalty.

King is another guy that looks like he will be on the injured list constantly.

In 2 weeks, GB will be 5-4-1 with a mini-bye going into Minnesota. Too much raw talent on this squad to not let it play out. Lotta ballgame left folks.

D was OK at times, especially the goal-line stand, but any misdirection totally mystifies them. Lots of bad penalties, undisciplined play.

The O with too many stalled drives. They're just not good enough anymore. No SB this year, We're looking at next years draft and free-agency and an infuse of talent, hopefully while ARod can still move around.

I would also add that forcing plays to Cobb is fairly stupid. Cobb looks slow and has no quickness. Either he is still hurt or he has lost it and needs to go. He was really bad. Maybe rookie mistakes are not good but at least they get down field and can make plays and get separation.

This was a well played game between these two teams. Yeah it's maddening that this game came down to two unscouted plays and a fumble on a strip play, but that's football. (And no. I'm not going to lead the parade for cutting Aaron Jones either.) The other side gets a say too, and veteran teams rarely make the mistakes that we see from the Packers. Heck, we all knew that this season was going to be a bumpy ride. Now if you'll all excuse me, I'm going outside to scream my head off..........

So many have been duped by Perry's mostly garbage time plays they actually believed he existed.
I never seen Matthews hair so 'dry ' and fluffy during a game.

A game that's billed as Rogers vs Brady is gonna lean pass, because that's where the money and promotion is directed in this sports entertainment product. One thing not pointed out as often is a problem with special teams. Missed field goals, any KR that has value is called back; no punt return, inconsistent in punting. Zook should be on he hot seat.

Mike McCarthy is truly a horrible coach. You have the ball first and goal from the three and you throw three straight passes. Rodgers managed to hit Adams but had to scramble to get it there. If McCarthy is back next year then we know he has pictures of Murphy and Gute or something. It's time to move on.

I was entertained. I felt the packers were in control right up to the fumble. Disappointing. I found the razzle dazzle plays by the patriots desperate. Still they didn't give up. The younger guys only need to learn how to win. I nice bullet proof shoe for all.

Dante Fowler Jr. had a nice game for the Rams today. they aren't afraid to upgrade an already very good team. Eric Reid was sitting out there forever and he should have been brought in. now...its a mess at Safety. OLB did nothing tonight. the Packers went into this year with question marks at S and OLB and did nothing to improve either. so the same holes will be facing Gute next year. time to bring in some proven talent at both positions and quit fu##ing around with these has beens and never were's.

I know I'm going to get slammed on this but AR just doesn't look like the same QB from years past. He simply doesn't have the discipline like Brady to take what the defense gives him underneath and in the flat. He's always, always, always trying to make a play downfield and he doesn't have as much escape ability as he once did. Add in the fact the line is being held together with smoke and mirrors and you have a 3-4-1 team that can't stop tripping over their own feet to cause injury, literally [see, Blake Martinez]. Imho the offensive line is the biggest problem as they can no longer keep Rodgers clean on intermediate routes much less the longer developing ones. Bulaga's on his last leg and is getting pancaked and rag dolled every week in critical situations. Bell, and McCray are backups, while Taylor and Linsley are serviceable but nothing special. Bhaktiari is the only red or blue chip player on the entire line. Gutekunst must address the offensive line and pass rush through the draft and FA. While Mathews and Cobb need to be released for more cap room for FA's who can actually play up to their contracts.

I would like to point out that the Packers are currently the worst professional sports team in Wisconsin.

Been a long time!

For this team to win consistently, the offense has to be flawless; and that hasn’t been the case. 38 points is the minimum. We continue to struggle with tempo whenever the personnel groupings change, and 12 “missing” on five throws a game isn’t going to cut it with this team; they just don’t have that kind of a margin of error. Could we run more? No doubt, but no holding penalties, and no fumbles.

I see some progress on D, but we’re giving up way too many points, and forget about getting a turnover or two to give the offense a short field. I sense the fan base is settling with this defense because of the vast improvement over the last few years, but it’s not a top tier unit by any means.

Let’s hope the second half of the season sees improvement everywhere.

Would like to see Josh McDaniels on the Packer sideline next year. He's a creative mind this team needs. As for what happened with him and the Colts - maybe he was just waiting for this job. It's well past time to move on fromMM.

No need for much analysis here. The Packers simply aren't in the same class as the Patriots, and no one else is, either. The Patriots have superior coaching, players, and decision-making (except for that fourth and goal pass). You just had to laugh when you saw how well-choreographed that trick play was. Or the flea-flicker. Stuff like that is out of the realm of consciousness for the Packers--unfortunately.

If you want to beat the Patriots in their building, you have to come up with a special game plan and avoid big mistakes. The Packers managed to hang in there pretty well until that fumble, but that just took the wind out of their sails.

Well, I am not pleased, but I am a fan of the Packers and will not give up on them.

But here are the obvious points -
*At least two full years of needing to find a starting caliber OLB and we ignore it.
*Same regarding a swing lineman. Cole Madison drafted, but no-show. So did we try to find someone at the trade deadline?
*Although TW missed that tackle, he also made a saving play previously at the end-zone, one on one. The play where he missed the tackle, he was left in no-man's land by the rookies, with needing to cover two guys....look at the replay. Still should have made the play, but at least he was there, Unlike Dix.
* This team's offense just could not respond and when it was, we cough up to ball again. The lack of ingenuity is screaming and MM and Aaron have to answer.
*Our front 6 to 7 are highly dependent on Adams, Clark, Matthews (Yes, Matthews), and Martinez. The rest have shown little. And the four mentioned (minus-Clark) have been inconsistent.
*Aaron's play was inconsistent too. Again, he was under-throwing routes. yet he hit some fantastic tosses. I have no answer, but the blind roll-out / keeper was a bad call and on Aaron.

Not only is McCarthy coaching himself out of his current job, he seems to be coaching himself out of his next one. If Cleveland is dumb enough to sign MM, they deserve all the glorious 2009 playcalling they're going to get.

Hate the pass to Cobb on 3rd down/goal on the 1st drive. Isn’t that why we got Jimmy Graham? Supposedly?

Jamaal Williams starts the 2nd drive. Why? Jones had just driven the team down the field on the first drive. Why not feed him, get him (and the offense) into a rhythm?

Later, Aaron Jones takes the ball inside the 3...then 3 pass plays (the third paid off, thankfully).

Kudos to the defense for getting it done, many men down, and forcing a second punt right after.

MM is dead man walking at this point, the Packers could turn it around and win the Super Bowl and it would not make any difference, even MM must realize that by now.

Relax, this is year one of gutes 2 year plan, and they're playing like it. NE always adapts, the Packers don't. The writing is on the wall, MM gave AR all the power and responsibility and it hasn't worked since 2010/11. This team is desperate, will they play desperate? MM is the guy from the natural giving reasons for losing. Losing is a desease, like cancer. Time for Roy Hobbs to say enough of this bullshit. Who is our Roy Hobbs? MM will run out of excuses with AR playing a whole season and missing the playoffs.

Surprised the again injured Kevin King didn’t make your list.

Even the guys on SportsCenter were ripping on McCarthy tonight. Basically saying how every pass play is 100% dependent on Rodgers making a flawless throw. It’s amazing he’s been able to do just that for so long. Now that he’s always a bit banged up & doesn’t have the league’s top pass protection, it isn’t humanly possible.

MM going with Williams on drive #2 is the epitome of why MM has to go. I Remember complaining about this “strategy” when it was Lacy/Starks. Lacy would just start to get going and MM would force Starks in so he could bounce a draw play to the outside for a yard and a half.

This team will go as far as Rodgers ability to be flawless will take them. I have no idea how else to predict this season. If not for an all timer vs the Bears week 1, & an almost equally unreal 4th quarter vs SF, & this team is sittin at 1-5-1, despite having the best player in the world. Someone wake up Murphy and get him to do whatever his job is.

I am very encouraged by MVS. He is probably our #2 WR, but he isn't quite a #2 receiver yet. When Davante, our #1 WR, is being contained to just 6.7 yds/reception because he is being doubled a lot, being covered by Gilmore, or both, we need more than 3 receptions on 6 targets from the #2, even though those 3 went for 101 yards. In those circumstances I hope and expect to see 10 targets or more with 6 or 7 receptions and another 30 or 40 yards.

BB took our #1 option more or less away, and was able to shrug off three big plays by MVS. That isn't enough to have consistency or rhythm. Graham did some damage, but Cobb and his 4.8 yds/rec could also just be shrugged off and could be covered by a safety.

defense had some bright spots.. the goal line stand.. they looked good in the third quarter.. they forced the Pats into running misdirection and gadget plays, which worked all too well.. the TD by Gordon was an especially bad look defensively. it is just frustrating that they are not putting a whole game together.

here is one more frustration.. with Packers' coaching under McCarthy: the offense habitually gets to use all of the timeouts. can't a timeout be used, occasionally, to stop the momentum of an opposing offense or change defensive scheme?

Does everyone realize how close we are to being 1 and 7? A couple of miracles and a bad kicker led to 2 wins and a tie. Our offense has shown no creativity. NE used creative plays that MM doesn't even have on his play card. The game has passed him by. Mcdanials will be looking for a HC job and the Packers should snap him up. Brady is right when he says that ARod would pass for 7000 yards in NE offense. Just like TT, MM should be removed.It probably won't happen until the end of the year but it needs to happen.

For the players sake, I want to see improvement as the rest of the season unfolds. They have stretches of excellent play (Brady going 0 for 8 in the 3rd Qtr), but have yet to put together a complete game.

Have called for McPuffy, Terrible Ted and Capers to be fired for years. Two out of three ain't bad, as Meatloaf would say. But it isn't, because TT is still with the organization, and McPuffy is still on the sidelines.

The Packers, a team I have embraced since the early 1960's, is on a downhill slide. It has been coming slowly for three years or so. But now it is really showing itself clearly.

There are only a few players on the team that another team would truly want for their squads. The rest are average at best, and not coached well at all. Last night proved that yet again. Poor special teams, receivers that don't get open, linebackers that can't get to the QB, and as the case of CMIII, gets blown up by a RB on a clean block protecting his QB.

Bringing in another punter, just in case your current punter has to fly home because his wife is going to have a baby? And have a plane ready just in case? Using up a roster spot for this? That's nuts! And that is just another bad example of how this team is run.

I said a few weeks ago to fire McPuffy now and let Philbin take over for the rest of the season. This team isn't going anywhere anyway. The evening when the Packers season ends, you fire Mike "Mr. Real Estate" Murphy. The organization needs a thorough house cleaning. We need a head coach with a modern offense. One who can adapt. Change with the times. McPuffy hasn't done that. You could hear the NE defense shouting out signals, adjusting to just what the Packers were going to do.

No team in the league is afraid of the Packers anymore. And that means a lot in the NFL. They have lost their ability to instill fear the past couple of years. Everybody knows what the Packers are going to do on offense. Pettine's defense is improving as the season goes on, but injuries are an issue, and lack of depth on both sides of the ball, along with that same poor coaching, has helped get us to where we are now. I hope Gute can continue to clean house and bring in players who can play. And draft well too. Can't judge him yet after only one year. But he has failed some this season by not bringing in available safety and OLB/Pass rusher help. Is that Murphy and Russ Ball holding him back with money being the reason? We don't know that answer.

I will continue to, and will always be a Packers fan. A frustrated one, but one never the less. Maybe karma has come around to bite us in the ass after so many good years. We have been spoiled that's for sure. But I like that! Why should the New England Patriot fans have all the fun?

MIA.....he's a TE....wears #80....has anybody seen this man.....yes, the same TE we were promised would be an unstoppable combination, Rodgers to Graham......unstoppable! What a joke! Hasn't been a factor in ANY games thus far. Great move management. Can't sign Mack but we'll roll out the carpet for a TE who either has fallen victim to McCarthy's play calling or his better days are far behind him.

We must win 6 out of the last 8 games to have a chance of making the playoffs. That doesn't necessarily guarantee us making the playoffs,but I think it does guarantee that McCarthy won't be back next year. Time's up Mike and we need a change. I hope there's another HC out there that fits what Gutekunst is trying to build and who's young and enthusiastic. Someone who will work well with Rodgers and will use the upcoming draft to fix both sides of the line of scrimmage. We must draft better. Passing on Watt in 2017 and Derwin James this year hurt!!!!

I love the Green Bay Packers and am a fan for life. I'm 66 and grew up with Ray Nitschke and Bart Starr and the Packer Sweep. About time Kramer who made the sweep go finally is a HOFamer. This team has a lot of talent I believe on offense. We must continue to run the football with Aaron Jones who needs 20 touches a game. Open the middle of the field with Graham who's a monster TE. Look for a first round plug and play right tackle like the kid from the Badgers. The ability to run the football will make Rodgers and passing game more LETHAL. The second half of the season starts this week at home against the Dolphins. GO PACK GO!!!

Packers lack a solid gameplan and lack speed. With our schemes our receivers dont get any separation. Rodgers always running for life, Brady immobile and sits in pocket. Our pass rush is very poor, and our d backs seem 10 yards off multiple receivers during many plays. Our problem: MM failure to change playbook and not using Jones fully.
