49ers Add Former Packer Tim Lewis as Secondary Coach

The Packers first round draft pick in  1983, Tim Lewis, has joined San Francisco's coaching staff

Lewis spent all three of his seasons playing in the NFL with the Packers before a neck injury cut his career short in 1986. Lewis shares a Packers record for the longest interception returned for a touch down at 99 yards.

Lewis moved on to coaching after his playing career at the college level at Texas A & M, SMU, and Pittsburgh, as well as jobs in the NFL with the Steelers, Giants, Panthers and Seahawks. He has been the second coach with Atlanta since 2010.
